The Oradell Car & Motorcycle Show to benefit The Erin Chack Fund will be on Sunday, October 18th at the Oradell Senior Center/Veterans Building parking lot. There will be music, food, Tricky Tray and numerous trophies.
Joanne and John Chack have been involved in Oradell for over a decade. Joanne teaches our children at OPS with innovative Nature programs on recycling and living things. She planted our flower garden at the train station and works on the Environmental and Beautification Committee in our town. Joanne was a Girl Scout Leader for her daughter, Elizabeth. John has coached soccer and softball with their younger daughters, Erin and Emily.
Erin was following her talent for writing at Boston University. After a sports injury, she complained of a stiff neck (her only symptom). A medical workup led to the diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She is only 19 years old and has began the treatments of chemotherapy to combat the disease.
As friends of the Chack family, we are asking for your participation on October 25th. We anticipate over a hundred show cars on display for People’s Choice Awards and numerous Sponsored Trophies.
